Meet Phoebe Terms
Legal

Privacy policy.

This says the same things the rest of the site says, because both are written from the same facts. Last updated 10 August 2026.

Who we are.

Meet Phoebe is operated by Meetphoebe AI, 132 Commercial Street, London E1 6NU, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, write to hello@meetphoebe.com.

What we collect, and why.

Your account. You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile photo. We need these to run your account — the legal basis is our contract with you.

Your meetings. When you choose a meeting, Phoebe records it and transcribes it to write your debrief. Meetings contain personal data about you and the people you talk to. The legal basis is our contract with you for your data, and legitimate interests for the incidental data of other participants — who you are responsible for informing (see the terms).

Your debriefs. The coaching Phoebe writes for you, kept so you can look back at it. Legal basis: our contract with you.

Your email, before you have an account. If you leave your email on this site to try Phoebe, we store it and use it for one thing: sending you your link. We don't add you to a mailing list, and you can have it deleted any time by writing to hello@meetphoebe.com.

Usage analytics. We measure page visits with a cookie-free analytics service. It collects no personal data, sets nothing on your device, and cannot follow you anywhere. That is why this site has no cookie banner.

How long we keep it.

Audio and transcripts: deleted within 24 hours. Your debrief arrives, and the recording and transcript it came from are gone the same day. This is the same promise made on the front page, and it is the one this policy exists to keep.

Debriefs: kept until you delete them or close your account.

Account data: kept while your account exists. When you close it, everything is deleted within 30 days, including backups.

Who touches your data.

Two processors handle meeting data on our behalf, both processing in Frankfurt, Germany: Recall (meeting capture and transcription) and Anthropic (the AI that writes your debrief). Google provides sign-in. Transfers from the UK to the EU are covered by the UK's adequacy decision. We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers — there aren't any.

What we don't do.

Your conversations don't train anything — not our models, not anyone's. Nothing goes to your manager or employer: you're the only one being coached, your team isn't scored or rated, and everyone else in the room is context that goes no further. Nothing joins your calls that you didn't choose, one meeting at a time.

Your rights.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, take it with you, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email hello@meetphoebe.com and we'll answer within a month. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Changes.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect. The date at the top is always current.
